A progressive Federal Government department is looking to appoint a Project Officer.

The project coordinator role is to assist and work closely with the Portfolio Support Office Team for the ICT Strategic Projects Branch. Contributing to a significant ICT transformation

The role will involve the below duties;

  • Provide administrative support within the Portfolio Support Office (PSO)
  • Support Branch governance from organising meetings to maintain decision & action logs
  • Support PSO with onboarding and off-boarding tasks
  • Maintain PSO confluence page
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders in a positive and professional manner
  • Work proactively and collaboratively with all stakeholders

To be successful for the role, you would ideally have:

  • Demonstrated PMO/Project Administration experience
  • Ability to deliver to deadlines
  • AGILE EXPERIENCE
  • Good interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with technical, management and businesspeople
  • Proficient in MS Applications - including Excel, Word, Visio and PowerPoint
  • Ability to deal with stakeholders at different levels of the organisation and ability to tailor communications and reporting accordingly

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian Citizens who currently hold or are able to gain an Australian Government security clearance
