Database Administrator
Long term engagement until April 2027 (contract renewed annually)
Carseldine - Brisbane Northern Suburbs
Seeking an experienced Database Administrator to to design, deliver and support SQL and AWS based database applications.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the database design requirements including timeseries, logs and audit
- Provide subject matter expertise for Database Server config, build, manage and monitor databases.
- Investigate incidents (including performance issues).
- Perform DB data extracts, reorgs, refreshes, backups and restores.
- Build and maintain operational documentation for database environment.
- Provide support as an escalation point in the support of the database environments.
- Assist in the design and implementation of Database Backup, environment management and business continuity.
- Provide advice and guidance to the project team on data modelling and best practise use of database products
Current and varied experience across public and private sector is highly desirable.
