Successful business intelligence analysts are able to demonstrate:
- High-level reporting skills
- Proficiency in analytics software's (including SAP, OBIEE, SiSense, Yellowfin etc)
- Exceptional analytical skills, including the ability to interpret insight from data trends
- High-level written and verbal communication and the ability to simplify and present complex information to a range of stakeholders
- High-level problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management and the ability to multi-task and prioritise
- Exceptional attention to detail
Business Intelligence Qualifications
Bachelor degree in business, information technology / systems, statistics, economics, accounting, and management are all relevant fields of study. Higher-level roles may require a Masters degree in business analytics, data analytics, business, and information technology.
