Leaders IT is in collaboration with one of our global leaders in the design and construction of large projects in the sectors of Sustainable Mobility, Hydropower, Water, and Green buildings. They are currently offering an exclusive opportunity to an enthusiastic Graduate Service Desk Officer to join their widespan IT Support community.

This role will be more than just an Entry Level Position but more of an opportunity to be part of a Growth and Development program that will provide you with support in fast-tracking your Career in IT whilst also gaining the important industry experience within a Full Time Role. Leaders IT will be working alongside you and as the successful candidate you will receive formal monthly mentoring, professional skills development workshops, access to Microsoft and ITIL certification, technical workshops throughout.

Responsibilities

  • Work within the Service Desk team and be the first point of contact for users, actioning and resolving incidents and requests in the ITSM ticketing system at a level 1 capacity, according to internal SLA policies.
  • Communicate with customers through tickets within the ITSM helpdesk but also in-person, via instant messaging, and over the phone.
  • Troubleshooting general IT issues with hardware and peripherals and aiding users across IT-supported platforms.
  • Perform account administration around password resets, MFA support and general access requests.
  • Contribute to improving user support by actively responding to queries, ensuring the successful resolution of escalations and handling complaints.
  • Display a strong commitment to customer service by using professional and courteous communications regarding customer inquiries, problems, and requests.

Skills and experience

  • Solid technical background with an ability to give instructions to a non-technical audience.
  • Customer service-oriented with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Some technical understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 and associated services, Active Directory and Azure Active Directory services.
