Peoplebank are recruiting for a Release and Environment Analyst (Release Manager) to work on an initial 6 month contact - with extensions highly likely - to based in the Adelaide CBD.
Responsibilities include:
- Technical installation, configuration and administration of the Application
- Maintain and apply the Application Management framework for this program
- Perform Release management tasks including managing release artefacts throughout all environments
- Set-up and management of the Environment in preparation for releases
- Investigate and contribute to resolution of issues relating to application administration and configuration
- Support the production and non-prod environments
- Perform basic system administration and configuration
- Maintain documentation for builds and associated configurations
- Contribute to improving the release process by means of automation and technology enhancements
Essential Skills
- Experience of working in a Release and Environment Management role
- Experience of working to support and implement a large system
- Skills in C# and .NET run-time environment
- Experience managing Version control (preferable Subversion)
- Good interpersonal and communication abilities
- Experience in large, complex IT environments
Desirable
- Experience of System Administration
- Understanding of Java run-time environment
- Understanding of Oracle Fusion Middleware or experience with other middleware products
- SQL, HTML/XHTML including CSS, XAML, XML/XSL/XSLT, SOAP, JSON
- Skills in scripting languages such as PowerShell, JavaScript
