About this role
Reporting to the Quality Assurance and Testing Manager, the successful candidate will be a very experienced automation testing specialist, with advanced experience in the Energy and Metering Infrastructure space who has successfully demonstrated an ability to maintain and implement automation test tools and harnesses.
Skills / Experience:
- Demonstrated utilities environment experience MANDATORY
- Strong hands on person with a strong technical aptitude with the ability to develop and maintain test automation suites and harnesses
- Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of automation frameworks and keen interest in staying relevant with current technology
- Passionate towards automation and continuous integration process
- Energy/Utility industry knowledge essential, with a solid understanding of Metering functions, services and obligations within Victoria.
- Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) experience.
- Strong experience and knowledge in the use of test tools, in particular HP Quality Centre, including the reporting, testing, requirements and defect management modules.
- Exposure to automated test tools such as HP ALM UFT, QTP/UFT Pro
- Knowledge of and understanding of the capability, of tools designed for supporting testing.
- Strong analytical lateral thinker and to be able to think outside the square
- Self-starter, who takes ownership and is capable of adjusting own behavior in different scenarios and is capable of multi-tasking to meet deadlines.
