Duration of the contract: Initial 6 months + possible extensions

Location: Interstate candidates, Energy Qld are happy to consider 100% remote. If you are in Brisbane there are WFH options (likely 2 days per week)

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with a mixture of internal and external staff and ensure the effective alignment and co-ordination of data migration activities and solutions to an agreed schedule.
  • Navigate data challenges related to ETL from legacy systems to the new SAP S/4HANA & MDG systems, with an innate functional SAP understanding on how data needs to be loaded and represented in SAP.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage data related artefacts required for delivery across each phase of the program. This includes the management/creation or updating of multiple interdependent data migration design documents, build plans and conversion activities.
  • Take a lead role in managing data defects related to data migration activities, performing root cause analysis comparing source and target data, to reach an appropriate remediation or solution.
  • Communicate formally and informally through existing forums to stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of six (6) years of demonstrated experience as a Senior Data migration consultant on large complex ICT projects, with SAP ERP/EAM experience.
  • Experience in migrating legacy data into SAP Demonstrated experience Preventative Maintenance, Enterprise Asset Management modules
  • Demonstrated expertise in SAP BODS, showcasing your ability to utilize its features effectively.
  • Recent experience of managing trial conversions, data cleansing, mapping, data reconciliation and data resolution activities
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate at technical and non-technical levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, senior management and project team members.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting deadlines in a high pressure, fast paced, environment.
