Our client is currently looking for an experienced Windows Engineer to join its IT team on a contract basis. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work across the broad range of technologies and equipment, receiving support from the business as needed.
Your core responsibility will be the maintenance of the integrity of the Exchange and Lync 2013 environments as well as providing SME leadership to other team members in related Microsoft and VMware technology.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Level 3 Support across a range of technologies - Microsoft Exchange 2010 Lync 2010 + 2013, Server 2008 - 2012, Unified Communications and Active Directory
- Project work, Operational support, internal and external client consulting
- Provides technical consultation to other project teams within the assigned program
- Working knowledge of ITIL and associated processes
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Windows Engineer
- Microsoft Certifications
- MS server 2008 2012 Active Directory high level administrator skills, server builds etc
- High level of Exchange 2010 support, troubleshoot, maintain, sizing
- Solid experience in Lync 2013 - administration, support
- Extensive VMware v5.x administration and support experience
- Experience in maintaining various storage subsystems (EMC) and ability to integrate data recovery solutions
- Desirable: Any demonstrated skills in Office 365 for enterprise will be a distinct advantage
