One of our Government clients is seeking an experienced Senior Integration Engineer for an initial 6 Month Contract.

The Senior Integration engineer will be responsible for defining and implementing systems integration activities across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure systems and sub-system components are successfully integrated
  • Identify and capture system integration issues or risks early to ensure timely resolution
  • Support and provide guidance to junior integrators and other technical teams
  • Define and contribute to testing activities across multiple platforms (regression, interface, simulation scenarios and test tools)
  • Manage and contribute to the setup of environments to facilitate the integration, testing and acceptance activities required by the program
  • Provide instruction on the setup of environments to support validation activities

Key Skills and Experiences:

  • Experience holding similar positions integrating complex software-centric real-time distributed systems
  • Ability to understand the structure of and troubleshoot Virtualisation Platforms/Operating Systems (Clients/Servers):
  • Extensive experience with UNIX/Linux Operating Systems, X programming, Windows Operating systems, and VMWare
  • Demonstrated experience in the Scripting languages Python, Shell, and XML
  • Strong experience with DevOps and Automation Tools and Configuration Management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Please note that the client is seeking a candidate who can work in the office (CBD) 5 days a week.
