Our client is looking for a Desktop engineer with a mining background.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the deployment and maintenance of desktop systems, focusing on Windows 10 rollouts and optimization for mining applications.
- Utilize SCCM expertise to streamline desktop management processes, ensuring efficient software distribution and patch management.
- Provide on-site technical support at various mine sites, troubleshooting issues and ensuring the smooth operation of desktop infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address unique challenges and implement innovative solutions tailored to mining operations.
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Desktop Engineer, with expertise in Windows 10 deployments, SCCM administration, and support for specialized applications.
- Experience working on-site in mining environments, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges and requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
