Our Global IT Consulting client is seeking several DevOps Engineers!
This is a permanent employment, located at our client's Canberra or Melbourne office.
As the selected candidate, you will:
- Provide input into designs, contribute to the installation and testing of automation tooling, including Ansible AWX, Terraform Enterprise, and Azure DevOps, and their integrations across AWS, Azure, and on-premises.
- Lead efforts to automate processes, optimize workflows, and enhance the reliability and scalability of systems.
- Implement Ansible AWX for enterprise-wide workflow management, orchestration, configuration management, and automation.
- Operationalize Terraform Enterprise for enterprise-scale infrastructure.
- Establish integrations with ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, IaC linting tools, and other DevOps tools.
- Create user stories based on high-level design and prepare documentation for handover.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Proficiency in using Terraform Opensource for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Extensive experience with Ansible, including the creation of playbooks and roles.
- Strong skillset in infrastructure virtualization and networking.
- Experience with Azure DevOps or equivalent, including integration with code security scanning and test automation tools.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
It is desirable if you have:
- Experience with Terraform Enterprise.
- Experience with the installation and integration of Ansible AWX.
- Work experience with Active Directory.
- Experience in RBAC design and policy management.
- Experience with HashiCorp Packer and Sentinel (Policy as Code).
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with at least a baseline clearance, ideally an NV1 clearance.
