About the role
Our client has an immediate opportunity for an IT Systems Engineer to join their Brisbane CBD office. Systems Engineer will be responsible for setting up and supporting various IT systems and services for the company.
Responsibilities
The role involves supporting a wide array of services spanning various technologies, including VMware, Windows Server, AD, Exchange, SQL, MECM, CommVault, Cisco UCS, and PureStorage. Additionally, responsibilities include maintaining, troubleshooting, and monitoring existing Hyper Visor and Virtual Server infrastructure, documenting environments, and installing, configuring, and integrating new physical and virtual server infrastructure. You'll also work with products from multiple vendors such as Microsoft, VMware, CommVault, PureStorage, and Cisco.
Skills and experience
- Experience of disaster recovery processes
- Several years of experience working with VMware and Windows Server
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow process
- Strong communicating skills both written and verbal
- Microsoft MCSE or equivalent certification preferred
- Latest versions of VMware vSphere and ESXi preferred
- ITIL 4.0 Foundation Certification preferred
- Bachelor of Information Technology or equivalent qualification/ experience
