Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their strategy and support team. The team is responsible for managing the funds transition and divestment of funds to new custodian, investment manager or super fund.
The role:
- Ensure the project and sub-projects operate in compliance with Group Policies, the Group Delivery Framework and Risk Appetite.
- Ensuring the projects' PMO operates effectively including the timely issuance of meeting notices, agendas, minutes and the effective maintenance of control registers and other artefacts.
- Providing governance over program, consisting of 6 projects
- Effectively manage relationships and communications with project stakeholders, including fund members and delivery teams
- Structure project team for success incorporating required skills from within the Group and sourcing resources from delivery partner organisations
- Communicate and report project activities, timelines, impacts and implications to project team members, stakeholders and staff
- Develop robust and achievable project plans to manage the delivery of quality project deliverables
- Balance schedule, cost and quality in reaching decisions relating to project delivery
- Manage and report project expenditures and benefits realisation
- Track and manage project activities and deliverables to achieve agreed outcomes and identify and develop mitigation strategies to manage project interdependencies
- Manage relationships with vendors and third-party suppliers
- Manage organisational change requirements with the business and Organisational Change Management professionals
The candidate:
- Project Manager
- Worked on a transition / divestment project
- Could have worked on something similar from either side of the fence:
- Outsource or insource transition provider for investment or superfund
- Outsource or change administration for investment provider or integrate processes
- Familiar with fund admin services for custodian - changing fund admin services
- Appreciation of change and risk mngt
