Our client is seeking an experienced Project Officer to join their successful team. The team is responsible for managing a large divestment project for a leading bank and all the business projects that go along with that.
Your responsibilities in the role include:
- Resource mngt, ensure PM get info for packs, held collate governance docs
- Assist with collection of information to track project status
- Assist PM's with project reporting
- Project admin, risks and miscellaneous tasks that arise
- Follow up with the project team on timely closure of actions; escalate slippages to the Project or Program Manager
- Update project status in various data bases as requested by managers
- Review and adjust project schedules in response to delay with completing individual project tasks
- Set up meetings, confirming attendance and taking meeting minutes
- Gain exposure to business and IT projects
Successful candidates will offer the following skills:
- Strong PowerPoint and willingness to do some admin needed
- Experience working in a fast-paced project environment
- An excellent can-do attitude
- Strong with PowerPoint and Microsoft office suite of products
