Our client is seeking an experienced Project Officer to join their successful team. The team is responsible for managing a large divestment project for a leading bank and all the business projects that go along with that.

Your responsibilities in the role include:

  • Resource mngt, ensure PM get info for packs, held collate governance docs
  • Assist with collection of information to track project status
  • Assist PM's with project reporting
  • Project admin, risks and miscellaneous tasks that arise
  • Follow up with the project team on timely closure of actions; escalate slippages to the Project or Program Manager
  • Update project status in various data bases as requested by managers
  • Review and adjust project schedules in response to delay with completing individual project tasks
  • Set up meetings, confirming attendance and taking meeting minutes
  • Gain exposure to business and IT projects

Successful candidates will offer the following skills:

  • Strong PowerPoint and willingness to do some admin needed
  • Experience working in a fast-paced project environment
  • An excellent can-do attitude
  • Strong with PowerPoint and Microsoft office suite of products
