About the Company
Our client, an industry leader in the Resources sector, is seeking an experienced OT Cyber Security Specialist to join their high performing team on an initial 12 month contract. To be successful in this role, you must have held a similar position where you had experience in an enterprise level organisation.
Duties
- Work within an OT Cyber Security team to support the business across one or more of the following: back up and recovery, threat management, vulnerability management, logging and monitoring
- Assist with conducting audits on existing operational systems and making recommendations on how to improve our security posture
- Work closely with engineering teams and vendors to assess the risks of new systems and make proposed changes to existing systems in our operating facilities
- Develop and improve security policies and procedures within IT/OT systems
- Liaise with vendors, internal IT & Engineering teams to resolve cyber security issues across OT systems
- Create and maintain documentation for the systems and applications supported by the team
Skills required
- Tertiary qualifications in IT or Engineering related discipline
- Current certification or progressing towards CISSP, CCNP Security
- Experience implementing security systems in complex, multi-vendor OT environments
- Experience working in oil & gas, mining, manufacturing or other industrial process environments
