IT /OT Supervisor (FIFO)
- 6 month contract based at a WA Mine site
- Seeking IT/ OT/ Networking / mine site experience
- 8:6 FIFO roster
The client:
A leading mining client with global operations that has been established for over a century.
The role:
We are seeking an experienced IT/ OT Supervisor who possesses a blend of IT/ OT / Networking and Mine site infrastructure experience to manage a team of 4 staff on a 6 month contract based at a WA Mine site on an 8:6 FIFO roster.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct day to day maintenance, troubleshooting and continuous improvement of site technology (both IT & OT infrastructure)
- Ensure that the systems comply to the safety standards set
- Provide technical and statutory site support
- Manage system reliability issues and facilitate removal of technology systems
Key requirements:
- Proven experience in a lead/ supervisory position within IT / OT environments
- Tertiary Qualification in IT discipline or demonstrate 5 years equivalent experience
- A thorough understanding of areas including
- IP data communications systems
- Wireless network administration and deployment
- Windows, Linux, and embedded system administration
- SQL database administration
- Remote access and administration tools
- Best practice backup and disaster recovery in 24x7x365 environments.
- Equipment installation standards
- Microsoft Active Directory administration and design
- Production Systems such as:
- Digital Radios
- Modular Mining Dispatch
- CAS Collision Avoidance
- CCTV
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs
- Windows, Linux & embedded system administration
- Network management and modification
- Previous experience working in FIFO / mine site positions
