My client a large banking institution are looking to bring an Authomation Technical Lead on a full-time, permanent basis. You will have extensive knowledge of hybrid cloud platforms across Windows servers and the ability to work in a multi domain environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical expertise to a Hybrid Cloud Services teams, covering all aspects of the cloud within a specific service or pattern.
- Set direction and oversight for the consistent use and implementation of tools, standards, methods and processes to ensure that quality services are developed with consistent and maintainable code which supports risk, secure operations, and compliance management
- Evaluate and provide diagnosis and resolution of complex service issues that may arise during the cloud life cycle to ensure effective development, maintenance and support of patterns and platform
- Liaise with key stakeholders and suppliers to ensure strong relationships are maintained
- Lead the build, deployment, and operations of automated cloud enabled patterns, tools, and platforms
Skills and experience
- Ability to deliver end to end automation of SQL Server on Windows hosts.
- Knowledge of Cloud tools such as AWS or Azure
- Automation experience with Chef, Puppet, Terraform or similar
- Thorough knowledge of SQL installation and configuration across the different server components
- Scripting experience in at least one of the following languages Powershell, Bash, Python, Ruby or similar
