Peoplebank are recruiting for an ITIL Change Coordinator who is accountable for the efficient and prompt coordination of all ICTS change requests through their (ITIL based) lifecycle.

The engagement of the Change Coordinator is required to:

  • Supporting Subject Matter Experts (SME's) in the performing change correctly and assist with change requirements
  • Liaising with change initiators, assisting, receipting, logging, allocating a priority and monitoring Requests for Change (RFCs)
  • Reviewing RFCs to identify potential issues and evaluate impacts of changes, escalating any non-conforming and incorrectly classified changes
  • Updating of the change log with all progress that occurs, including any actions to correct problems and/or to identify opportunities to improve service quality
  • Reviewing implemented changes to ensure that they have met their objectives and refers any that have failed to the affected Line Managers and the Director of Systems ICTS
  • Reviewing outstanding RFCs awaiting consideration or awaiting action and closing RFCs
  • Ensuring all changes to service assets and configuration items are recorded in the configuration management system
  • Coordination with change management, problem management, network management, release management and operational functions
  • Work and communicate within a collaborative team environment
  • Be self-motivated and 'solution' focussed
  • Work unsupervised and be accountable for meeting deliverables in line with the agreed schedule

Skills and Experience Required:

Experience

  • Proven experience in ICTS change management processes, activities, techniques and tools within a large, complex organisation
  • Proven experience in routine operational change management tasks
  • Proven expertise and experience in liaising with multi-disciplinary technical and professional teams

Knowledge

  • Demonstrated knowledge of ICTS change management policies, processes, practices, activities, techniques and tools
  • Demonstrated knowledge of configuration management processes, procedures and standards
  • Some knowledge of Network set-up and management requirements
  • Understanding of change and requirements management processes
