Our Client:

Our client has a large presence within the Government Sector, they are currently seeking an Application Developer - Full Stack to join their team for an initial 12-month contract.

The primary focus of this role is to implement new ingestion, storage and consumption patterns within the FACT processing engine using Azure/AWS cloud native technologies and some third-party products, that adhere to security and policy frameworks.

About the role

You would be involved in:

  • Building out the Data acquisition pipeline and rules engine in a cloud-hosted environment across AWS cloud-native technologies that integrate with Cloud and Premise applications
  • Developing an approved programming language type script, Mongo DB and Node JS for applications and products hosted within a cloud environment
  • Owning issue resolution arising from build reviews (including security, integration, and technical challenges), escalating for support when needed
  • Translate feature documentation into build patterns to apply in the data and analytics landscape
  • Working with Data Catalogue and Lineage products and integration with cloud services

To be successful for the role, you would ideally have:

  • Knowledge or experience in working with Azure/AWS cloud-native services
  • Knowledge or experience in working with Big data/analytics platforms (preferably Teradata Data Warehouse and/or Cloudera Hadoop)
  • Languages including Typescript, Node JS, Mongo DB
  • Proficiency in Agile project delivery methodology is required.
  • Security Clearance: Baseline or ability to acquire this clearance
