Responsibilities
- Installs, tests, and maintains operating and system software and hardware with adherence to facility management procedures.
- Analyses and resolves hardware and software problems encountered in the Region's ICT environment.
- Supports Microsoft, database and other software problems encountered in the Region's ICT environment.
- Undertakes the administration of the Region's systems for back-up, recovery, security, and virus defence procedures. Reports faults to the Regional ICT Manager and assists in finding resolutions.
- Provides remote and on-site support for ICT hardware and applications to all Regional operational divisions.
- Broad experience in providing first, second and third level end-user desktop support.
Skill & Capability Requirements:
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality service delivery.
- Experience in working with Microsoft network operating environments and good understanding of network infrastructure.
- Strong technical skills and a developed knowledge of computer operating systems, application software and utility packages in a large, complex environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
