The ICT Asset Officers will for the duration of a transformation project supplement the existing ICT Asset Management team responsible for provision support across the Agencies ICT asset management. The successful candidate will be required to maintain processes, ordering, distribute and prepare of ICT equipment and peripherals for staff and partners.

Duties

ICT asset management officer will:

  • Update and maintain appropriate registration of all ICT asset including asset moves;
  • Participate in Asset stocktakes and Audits;
  • Assist with ongoing asset refresh and upgrade roll outs across Agencies hardware fleet
  • Asset refresh and upgrade projects including role outs of ICT operating systems across the agencies existing desktop and mobile devices;
  • Assist in documenting ICT asset management processes;
  • Assist ICT Asset Management Team Leader in drafting ICT asset documentation and communications, briefing papers and other corporate documents as they relate to ICT asset management;
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders in a positive and professional manner; and
  • Respond to and prioritise competing and often urgent requests in a calm and efficient manner while also maintaining high work standards
  • Manage confidential and sensitive information.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Experience with ICT Asset warehousing processes including software rebuilds
  • Experience in freight forwarding, logistics or inventory administration, purchasing or supply chain administration;
  • Experience with documentation across inventory and logistics processes;
  • Experience assisting technical support teams in coordinating repairs and installations, device rebuilds and quality checks;
  • Highly organised, methodical and have a high attention to detail whilst ensuring deadlines are achieved;
  • Understanding of ICT asset management practices; and
