About the Company:

Be part of a dynamic Local Government Organisation in Sydney CBD, supporting Business, the Environment and the Arts in Sydney.

Key Accountabilities:

Ensure 24x7 operation of mission-critical database systems
Perform common database administration tasks, enhance operational standards and policies for DB environments using industry experience and best practices to meet business needs
Provide thought and technical leadership on data modelling, physical design and integration design
Identify and resolve performance problems with database systems
Maintain and administer point to point file transfers and integrations
Develop and implement new and replacement system integrations using integration platform
Maintain and administer integration platforms and enhance disaster recovery capabilities for databases
Work with QA and IT teams to ensure data security for production, staging, testing and development environments
The position is expected to comply with the Work Health and Safety Act and associated legislation in the performance of all duties

Skills and experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in MS SQL server database administration in high volume transaction processing environments and in design and implementing BizTalk enterprise solutions and server administration and configuration
Advanced .NET programming and T-SQL experience
Experience in developing SSRS, SSIS and in designing and developing system integrations solution
Experience or exposure in development of Azure Logic Apps
Ability to work outside of business hours when necessary
Tertiary qualifications with minimum bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering
