About the Role
Design and build capabilities in alignment with industry best practice including automation of maintenance and monitoring tasks for to ensure adherence to policies and processes. Delivery focus will include consultation, estimations, and transition work from time to time.
Key Responsibilities
- Support delivery teams with new and innovative solutions
- Maintain and evolve technologies and capabilities that make up the infrastructure an application platform
- Support, maintain and enhance automation and development tools used by delivery teams.
- Co-ordinate and maintain the security and compliance of the development tools and platform.
- Provide Subject matter expert on Cloud, application platform automation, security, scalability and operational readiness.
- Contributes to the continuous improvement of the infrastructure support function by maintaining awareness of technology developments
Mandatory Experience
- 5 years in operational infrastructure roles (Cloud or Networks or VMWare)
- Experience working in a large, complex and critical Operational IT Environments
- Azure Cloud Experience
Desirable experience
- Solid networking experience including NSX or any other SDN
- Must have knowledge of operating a vsphere environment as well as usage of associated tooling
- AVS or VMC experience is a bonus
