Job Description

Our client requires the services of an Assistant Director for their Business System Support team. The candidate will support the Director and lead the team to undertake the support and operational activities for the agency's Salesforce platform. The candidate will also be required to undertake a level of support and operational activities for other business and integrated applications.

Duties

The role is to lead a team to:

  • Assist the Director with overall team strategy, priorities and planning
  • Conduct operational oversight of team activities and triage work effectively
  • Investigate and resolve issues raised to the team and operate using ITIL framework
  • Review of work undertaken by analysts in the team, including providing guidance and direction
  • Provide executive summaries and status updates of issues and work on hand as required
  • Liaise directly with various business and technical team leads including facilitating and delivering workshops
  • Build strong relationships and liaise with external vendors
  • Coordinate required change and release management tasks for the team, including prioritisation, development, testing, communications and governance
  • Implement and operate mature monitoring capabilities
  • Review and development of operational processes and procedures
  • Governance activities, knowledge management and control implementation

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Salesforce Administrator certification
  • Demonstrated experience delivering business application support for complex systems
  • Demonstrated experience in technical writing and documenting guidelines and operational procedures
  • Demonstrated experience working with a divergent group of internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing a support team, including triage and workload management, providing guidance and fostering a positive team culture
