Our Federal Government Client is seeking a System Analyst.

This is a long-term contract role (12 months initial contract with potential 2 x 12 month extensions) located in either Canberra, ACT or Brisbane, QLD (hybrid working arrangements available).

As the selected candidate, you will:

  • Work as part of a team using Agile methodologies to design, develop and support business IT solutions

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to define user requirements and translate them into highly detailed technical specifications

  • Work closely with developers, architects, and other team members to ensure successful project delivery

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience

  • The ability to document complex technical specifications

  • A strong understanding of front-end development, APIs, RESTful architectures, and cloud platforms

  • Experience with quality control principles

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

It is desirable if you have:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience (highly desirable)

  • Experience identifying APIs from business processes and understanding different integration patterns (highly desirable)

  • Experience implementing cloud-based data and analytics platforms (highly desirable)

  • Experience working with JSON data

  • A proven ability to work effectively in a team environment using Agile methodologies

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with a Baseline security clearance.
