Peoplebank are looking to recruit a Team Leader, Information Management to work for our client based in the Adelaide CBD, working on a salaried role, directly for our client.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the future direction of information management by creating developing and implementing business strategies that align to the Board's strategic agenda.
  • Provide expert advice to Senior managers on existing and emerging information management trends, records management and information management issues.
  • Lead the delivery of Information Management projects, including developing and implementing frameworks and plans to manage the lifecycle of records and information across all technology platforms.
  • Develop, deliver and evaluate plans, procedures, guidelines and systems that support electronic document workflow and compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Ensure management of information to the appropriate standards of confidentiality, privacy and security and quality management principles and monitor and carry out disposal of records in accordance with records disposal schedules.
  • Undertake complex project work and technical consulting to identify and implement automated workflow processes, enhancing business efficiency and accountability within information management systems.
  • Create visually compelling dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders, including using data visualization tools, such as Power BI.
  • Develop automated reporting processes to streamline data delivery and enhance decision-making agility.


Skills and experience required:

Essential

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver Information Management objectives and strategy, through the leadership and management of people and resources in time critical environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering information management policy and frameworks and delivering on projects from inception to completion at an agency wide level.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of technology, techniques and trends in Records and Information Management and their relevance/suitability for use in the agency.
  • Detailed understanding of the State Records Act 1997 and demonstrated experience within information management and records management


Desirable

  • Experience in interpreting relevant information (including Acts, Regulations, Awards, Agreements and policies), and applying knowledge in a manner that is explicit and adds value to the achievement of agency objectives.
  • Knowledge of quality management change management and continuous improvement principles and practice.
  • Experience in maintaining the electronic document and records management systems (EDRMS).
  • Knowledge of the protective security areas of Government and the application of the Protective Security framework
