Our client, a large IT services company, is a secure and reputable brand within the IT world. Due to project workload, they are requiring a Senior Wintel Engineer with excellent communication skills to join their team immediately.
This is a prodominantly project based role working across the Wintel Server and VMWare infrastructure. There are currently numerous projects running with the business looking at revitalising their whole technology stack. This engineering team currently support the existing infrastructure but will gradually start supporting the new technology as it's implemented
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Extensive experience in a Wintel Server Support role
- Powershell scripting
- Experience in a large enterprise environment
- Strong incident and problem management skills
- Experience with AD, Server 2003 / 2012R2
- Experience with Win XP, 7 and Win 10
- VMware experience, physical to virtual conversions
- Ideally have experience supporting Mobile Devices
MUST have large enterprise experience.
