Application Support Team Lead

A global industry leader is seeking an experienced Application Support Team Lead for a permanent role that will be responsible for leading a global technical support team. We are seeking someone who is experienced in leading Application Support teams and has come from either an Application Support or development background.
Responsibilities include:
- Leadership of the global technical support team
- Roster management
- Act as technical escalation point
- Ensure customer SLAs are met by the team
- Monitor, investigate & troubleshoot technical issues
- Develop technical support policies and procedures
Key experience:
- Strong, recent experience in leading an Application Support Team
- Technical background in PHP, Java, APIs & software integrations would be highly regarded (but not mandatory)
- Experience with troubleshooting tools like Postman and Datadog highly regarded (not mandatory)
- Proven ability to lead a technical support team
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement ability
Desirable:
- A technical / development background
- Previous experience leading global teams
