System Analyst - Network Technologies
6+ month contract
We are looking to hire an experienced System Analyst - Network Technologies for one of our premier clients. This role plays an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that goals and objectives of new business development requests are accomplished within prescribed time frames. The incumbent must consistently aim to deliver quality services and/or solutions that meet business requirements and ensure that goals are accomplished in line with business objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Will be responsible for assisting the Product Owner in the development business critical Wireless Service products that will be used across the client's business.
- Investigate, analyse and productise new Wireless technologies to deliver cheaper and superior services to the business
- Will act as a technical bridge between clients and key vendor and architecture teams
- Will be assisting the product owner in the translation of business needs into technical roadmaps.
- Liaise with delivery team to ensure products are being implemented as designed.
- Analysis of current environment with intent to optimise product offerings and delivery
- Assisting the Product Owner with the technical assessment of design change requests from operations teams.
- Assist with the technical design of the "build and test" activities to ensure end 'product' solution meets agreed business outcome.
Skills Required
- Extensive understanding of Wireless platforms and technologies which include Cisco WLC, Cloud based WLAN and hyper -location.
- Experience using Cisco Prime infrastructure and management of an enterprise grade Wireless network
- Understanding of vendor management, commercials and negotiations.
- Good working knowledge of ITIL with a focus on Service Design
