Our largely sought-after, mining sector client, is seeking a PMO Specialist for an initial 6-month contract based in Brisbane CBD.
Working in a diversified team, with multiple stakeholders, you will have a natural curiosity and passion around process and improving the way things work, with an emphasis on looking for collaborative ways to succeed. You will be responsible for contributing to the Area of Expertise (AoE) Project Excellence (PE) function stand up and ensuring the AoE framework, processes, governance and tools are understood and utilised by the teams.
To be successful you will have experience and exposure to PMO processes from large scale and / or diverse organisations as well as experience managing establishment and step change improvement of policies, procedures and methodologies.
Skills and Experience:
- Deep knowledge of PMO methodologies, approaches and operations
- Ability to drive the use of the framework in with a supportive and a collaborative approach
- Strong influencing skills to motivate multiple teams of technical / IT professionals across different regions and cultures
- Strong people management skills
