Our client, an industry heavyweight in the Telco domain, currently requires the skillset of a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with extensive Java/JEE based development and design skills.
If successful, you will be responsible for developing RESTful API web service whose API's are used by our client's flagship applications
Must haves:
- Strong hands on microservices using Java 8
- Technical design and architecture
- AWS (serverless and solid understanding on AWS security)
- Strong experience in designing and developing Restful APIs.
- Able to interpret and create API documentation
- Good communication skills
- REST / JSON API development / integration experience
- Experience with development and test using micro service / lightweight containers frameworks such as Spring Boot / Play Framework AWS
- Must be fluent with Linux
- Familiar with database technologies - particularly NoSQL DBs
- Experience in design of batch processing for large data
- Design of scalable systems in cloud (AWS is a plus)

- Java / API unit and integration testing
- Team player, can bring ideas to the group
- Some hands-on experience with AWS is needed, not needing an architect, but just hands on for a little is ok.
