Our client, a major player in the defence space, requires an experience Systems Engineer to guide the end-to-end build of a new sonar system to replace existing sonar systems on submarines.
This is a chance to lead the end-to-end build of a product.
Within a project team of 12, leading a team of 3-4 systems engineers you will guide design work and lead the systems engineering lifecycle bringing together various groups including hardware, software, security, electronics and mechanical engineering to ensure successful system delivery.
With a background in large systems, software or electronics, you will bring strong systems thinking and proven defence experience in work packet management and leading systems engineering lifecycles to test and deliver new systems.
It would be ideal to have awareness of considerations of solutions design in ocean and water environments.
