Our Federal Government Client is seeking two Senior Integration Developers to work within multi-discipline delivery teams, following agile principles to develop IT systems supporting business and external customers.
This is a long-term contract for 12 months with a 24-month extension option, located at our Client's Canberra location with the option to work remotely as well.
As the selected candidate, you will:
- Design, build, maintain and test modern RESTful APIs, using technologies including MuleSoft, AWS (API Gateway, EKS, OpenSearch, Dynamo DB, etc), NodeJS, AMQ, and OpenShift
- Work with Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts to translate user stories into technical designs for implementation and deployment
- Plan, document, and manage deliverables (tasks and stories) assigned to you
- Collaborate and mentor team members to promote team harmony and support cross-skilling professional development
- Instil a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement in a team environment
- Work with the delivery manager to support our agile delivery approach
- Undertake additional duties as required.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Extensive knowledge and experience in developing and securing RESTful APIs and web services using MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform and/or similar technologies60%
- Demonstrated experience in developing integration solutions, specifically cloud-native and serverless solutions using AWS/Azure20%
- Experience in developing API specifications using OAS/RAML framework20%
It is desirable if you have:
- Hands-on experience with DevOps/modern agile software delivery question (including automation, observability, CI/CD, testing, or similar)
- Demonstrated Experience in using container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and platforms such as AWS EKS/ECS, RedHat OpenShift
- Experience in implementing monitoring framework for APIs using tools such as Dynatrace APM, AWS Cloud Watch or similar
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian who have the ability to obtain Federal Government Security Clearances.
