Seeking UX Designers for our Federal Government Client to work on site in Canberra. Open to Citizens able to obtain AGSVA Baseline Clearance.

Our Federal Government Client is looking for UX Designers.

The UX/UI designer will contribute to the ongoing improvement of current and future digital product. They will play a pivotal role in growing the Experience Design team's footprint within the agency and help achieve great outcomes for all our users, participants, and providers.

The Experience Design team is a small and close-knit group of professionals who strive to make a difference for our stakeholders and users. Some of our work gives us opportunities to dive deeply into complex problems while other initiatives require us to work quickly to deliver quality products in very tight timeframes.

Mandatory
1. Proven Experience in the elicitation of UI/UX requirement techniques such as brainstorming, workshops, prototyping, observation, or interviews, and confirming or reporting on results.


2. Contemporary knowledge of UI/UX Methodologies and experience designing to meet WCAG guidelines.


3. Proven experience building rapport and maintaining stakeholder relationships, communicating confidently and presenting messages in a clear, concise, and articulate manner to senior stakeholders.


4. Comfortable with new ways of thinking about accessibility and enthusiastic about accessible design & development will be highly regarded

- While experience with accessibility isn't necessary, previous experience or a desire to learn is highly desired.

The role has an initial contract to 30th June 2025 with a possible 12-month contract extension. It is the Client's preference for the work to be done on site at their office in Canberra.

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens who can obtain Federal Government Security Clearances.
