Our Client is a large NSW Government Organisation who require a Senior SQL Developer to lead direction, manage and advise and an SQL Developer focused on executing the migration for a major Business redesign
Responsibilities:
SQL Developer:
- Analyse data migration requirements with Business and perform mapping between source and destination schemas
- Development, deployment and execution of migration runs, transformation of data and use of Data loading tools (ETL)
- Lead the design of the ETL Layer and staging to target mappings
- Working with business analysts to define business rules for data quality management and migration.
- Migration from ADABAS systems to SQLServer Database and conduct the implementation to production
Senior SQL Developer:
- As above but also defining technical architecture, design and strategies for migration process
Skills and experience:
SQL Developer:
- 5 years + experience in SQLServer, Oracle and Informix Technologies
- Experience in ETL Tools on SQL Server technologies
- Extensive use of developing reports in Power BI
- SQL Server Integration Services, SSRS and SSAS
- Scripting and Automation using PowerShell and T-SQL
- Azure Data Factory
- Power BI reporting ▪ Strong experience in detailed data analysis, ETL, data cleansing, and data migration of very large datasets ▪ Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Senior SQL Developer:
- As above but 10 years+ experience in SQLServer, Oracle and Informix Technologies
