The role exists to lead and facilitate the roles and responsibilities for mostly legislative/ mandatory projects across a range of banking products and services.

Primarily to elicit and translate change for business stakeholders, define and document what is required for changes to business processes, policies and information systems for particular products & services communicate change to all stakeholder groups across impacted brands and recommend business solutions that enable the organization to achieve the required outcomes.

The role adds value to both Genpact and its clients combining leadership and management experience with deep domain knowledge and executive presence to deliver projects or programs. These opportunities are realized by identifying, acquiring and developing talent in the form of Senior Managers and Managers and involves significant coaching competence.

Responsibilities

The role is focused on identifying and developing talent in the PMO team along three dimensions: 1) execution excellence in Programme and project management and problem solving disciplines, 2) PMO domain knowledge and expertise demonstrating thought leadership and practicing global knowledge sharing and 3) stakeholder management and executive presence accessing and influencing executive decision-makers in both existing and potential clients.

  • Deliver project outcomes as per SOW/ client requirements and as instructed by Project Lead
  • Manage project outcomes and deliverables meeting client's expectations as stated in SOW
  • Provides visibility to client and Genpact on project milestones and deliverables
  • Coach and manage team to drive results
  • Workshop facilitation with cross functional teams
  • Communicates effectively with various teams
  • Run governance and cadence on regular basis
  • Develop and maintain expertise in relevant project domain
  • Participate in collaboration within the client and Genpact organization
  • Participate in initiatives in building and maintaining a knowledge library within the team
  • Client satisfaction at each engagement measured through NPS/ client feedback
  • Capability development in respective domain

Qualifications we seek in you

  • Previous banking operational experience with client account
  • Project delivery experience in BFSI
  • Lean Six Sigma / Green Belt trained and tested
  • Graduate qualification in any field
  • Minimum 8 years Banking Operations
  • Minimum 5years' experience to account operations
  • Project Management experience minimum of 3 years

Specific Competence (Essential)

  • Project management experience
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and project execution skills
  • Strong executive presence, demonstrated through excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Confidence and the ability to influence clients, build and maintain client and stakeholder relationships
  • Demonstrable thought leadership

Specific Competence (Desirable)

  • Programme (multi-stream) management exposure
  • Certification or experience in Lean and Six Sigma methodology
  • Demonstrable change management experience or knowledge using OCM or Prosci ADKAR methodology or similar
  • PMI / Prince 2 / Agile / other Project Management qualifications
  • Target Operating Model (TOM) experience
