Our client is looking for a Project Manager with strong technical abilities and solid experience in IT Infrastructure, Desktop & SOE Migrations. You will be responsible for the daily management of IT projects throughout the project lifecycle from ideation through to completion.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage cross disciplinary team members with sometimes conflicting priorities
- Manage multiple suppliers to deliver specific work packages as part of integrated project delivery
- Prepare project plans and maintain these to ensure projects are delivered with agreed scope, on time and within budget
- Identify, analyse & prepare risk mitigation strategies
- Produce accurate and succinct reports on project progress throughout the project lifecycle
- Establish effective project communications plans
- Adhere to all organisational policies, procedures, standards and practices
Requirements:
- Extensive experience (preferably 7+ years) project managing and delivering IT projects
- Experience in delivering IT infrastructure projects involving Network consolidation, Cloud migration, Desktop and SOE rollouts
- An understanding of the technologies associated with Network consolidation, Cloud migration, Desktop and SOE rollouts
- Project Management Certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management to ensure ongoing support for project success
- Experience in government is a benefit but not a requirement
