Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager or Coordinator to join the career centre team in Sydney CBD. The team is responsible for the successful roll out of retail stores.
Job Description:
- Track project manager progress on each store project according to KPIs, providing regular reporting on program status & project manager performance, reporting to store delivery manager
- Perform internal ordering on behalf of project managers for key network infrastructure, and manage through to service activation
- Perform purchasing activity for store projects through quotation, purchase order and invoicing phases, reporting to project managers to ensure budgets are up to date and cost reporting is accurate
- Review and refine store delivery control documents and processes on an ongoing basis to ensure best practice
- Evolve & maintain the existing SharePoint document management system, ensuring all projects are supported and project managers are held to account to keep the system updated with project documentation
- Projects are waterfall based
The candidate:
- Significant experience working within a project team as a junior project manager, mid-level project manager or project/program coordinator (role can be tailored to person)
- Ideally, the candidate will have experience working on retail store projects from either the client side (retail) or build side (construction)
- Other backgrounds like construction, fitouts or build company's considered
- Not looking for Agile / IT project experience
- Someone that is strong enough to police PM's and regarding delivery
- Willing attitudfe to do 50 / 50 role combining admin and delivery with the perks being expsire to the role of a Senior Project Manager and opportunities to step up
- SharePoint is highly desirable only
