Our client is seeking an experienced Program Manager to join their applications development team. The team is responsible for delivering Agile software projects for the company's various website, portals and Marketing, Sales and Customer domains.
The role:
- The role is a mixture of Program Manager and Project Manager and 2ic to a senior manager
- 40% of your time will be delivery large complex programs of work and 60% will be delivering a project on your own
- Projects are related to digital application, portal, website, mobile, billing, integrations and are usually valued between $500k and $3m - You will have finance / scrum master to help
- You will represent the department at various management initiatives at a group level and report back to the team
- Be involved in strategic direction of the team in consultation with senior management
- Direct reports through a matrix structure only
The candidate:
- Extensive Program Management experience - Digital / Applications
- Worked at a large organisation on large software app dev projects
- Ability to set up feature teams under each project
- A project management certification. Eg, PMP - only desirable
- Strong stakeholder management skills at a senior management level. Eg, Director / G.M
- Experience managing small to medium cross functional teams to deliver projects
- Scaled Agile is also desirable
