Our client is an organization in the cyber security industry that works to provide expertise and advisory services Australia wide.
The role
We are seeking a Linux Engineer who will be responsible for the design, development, automation, integration and maintenance of on premise and hybrid cloud systems and applications in a mission-critical environment. The role requires an NV1 clearance OR Australian Citizenship (with ability to obtain an NV1 clearance).
Essential criteria
- Commercial experience designing and administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux based systems in hybrid or public cloud environments following DevOps practices
- Experience maintaining systems using "Configuration as Code"
- Configuration deployment and system administration with git and automation tools including Ansible, Terraform or Packer
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Podman or Cloud native technologies
- An understanding of Agile Methodology
- Excellent communication and client support skills
Desirable criteria
- Federal Government NV1 Clearance
- ASD Occupational Suitability Assessment (0SA) recently
- Equivalent experience with Ubuntu servers
