We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Instructional Designer to join a team to help develop and implement training for data analysts.
The successful candidate will design, produce, embed, facilitate technical training via multiple channels for the analytics SME's.
The key accountabilities of this role area:
- Conduct a learning needs analysis for a community of up to 300 end users
- Support the development of an end-to-end strategy and L&D roadmap to transition the analytics community to effectively use new and innovative tools
- Design and curate and implement an analytics training content, using multi-modal techniques and tools
- Build an online knowledge repository
- Provide face-to-face instruction with enduring training content
- Support others to develop the capability to deliver training on an ongoing basis
- Design and document and analytics learning and development strategy and road map
- Utilize video and photography editing/production incorporated into online content to produce state of the art interactive videos and assessments for training
- Undertake a maturity assessment of current analytics capability e.g. general lifecycle, practices, methodologies & standards
You will have:
- At least 5 - 7 years of experience in a technical training role
- At least 3 years in a business environment
- Ability to develop a learning strategy and create multi-modal training content including e-learning, web-based knowledge hub, software documentation and face-to-face instruction
- Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a cross-functional team and gather and analyze requirements
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and advocate for new and emerging skills
- A self-motivated approach and comfort with working in a fast-growing, dynamic and ambiguous environment
- BA/BS/BComm degree or equivalent qualification
