Our Client:
Our client has a large presence within the Telecommunications Sector, they are currently seeking an Integration Specialist to join their team for an initial 12 months.
The primary focus of this role is to be responsible for the ongoing lifecycle tasks associated with compliance IT and network platforms including but not limited to:
- Managing security risks associated with compliance IT and network platforms
- Software patching
- Configuration of applications
- Physical installation and cabling (occasional)
About the role
You would be involved in:
- Implement network and IT changes according to agreed change process.
- Develop and test network and IT configuration changes to meet project requirements
- Report on performance and capacity of network and IT infrastructure
- Collaborate closely with project teams to implement required changes to meet project requirements
- Analyse network and IT problems for resolution
To be successful in the role:
- Experience working with RHEL and Oracle Based Linux to build, deploy, configure and troubleshoot
- Experience working RedHat Satellite to publish content views, automate server builds and integrate with VMWare
- Experience working CISCO UCS-M Compute architecture, windows and openstack to build, deploy, configure, and troubleshoot
- Skills in the following IT and network:
- RedHat High Availability
- Puppet or Ansible
- Bash or PowerShell
- SOE and lifecycle management.
- Network / IP / Firewall / Storage knowledge
