Full stack Developer

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in defining and scoping projects
  • Development of solutions for the analysis and interpretation of data
  • Participation in the development of architecture, selection of implementation technologies, systems and products related to Extended Reality (XR) concepts primarily, but not limited to.
  • Software development for XR with knowledge and capability to handle 3D model content (texture, material properties, UV unwrapping) to importing into Game Engines for use in solutions
  • Participate in innovation workshops to collaboratively ideate with clients
  • Development and presentation of prototypes to prove value of capabilities and technologies to clients
  • Researching innovations in technology which can be applied to the rapid prototypes which are implemented

Being a full stack developer, we are looking for someone who is well versed in the following technologies

Game Engine

Preferece in either or both Unity 3D or Unreal Engine

Unity 3D

Key Requirements

  • Proven workflow for creating experiences / games
  • Utilising the latest that Unity 3D has to offer (VFX Graph, URP, DOTS, Cinemachine, Timeline) and ability / knowledge or performance optimisation for various platforms (mobile, VR Headsets, PC, WebGL)
  • C# coding
  • Consumption of APIs and working with backends
  • Multiplayer using both local network and internet based multiplayer technologies (Photon, mirror, others)
  • Deployment onto various platforms (including best practice considerations for interaction, screen resolution etc…)

Unreal Engine

Key Requirements

  • Blueprints
  • Material node editor
  • Niagra
  • C++ (desired)
  • Proven workflow for creating experiences
  • Consumption of APIs and working with backends
  • Multiplayer using local network and internet based multiplayer technologies
  • Performance optimisation for various platforms (mobile, VR Headsets, PC)
  • Deployment onto various platforms (including best practice considerations for interaction, screen resolution etc…)

3D Modelling (Desired)

  • Understand the basic workflow for 3D modelling practices
  • Texturing, UV Unwrappnig, Trimsheets, Materials, decimation
