Our Federal Government Client is seeking a skilled Front End Developer / User Interface Designer to be responsible for driving a human-centric approach to service delivery, with a focus on understanding customer, business, and technology needs and balancing these to deliver effective digital services. This is an opportunity to play an integral part in the transformation of government services to deliver fast, simple and user-centric services for government and the public.
This is a long-term contract opportunity for 6 Months with Possible 2 x 12 Month Extension Options, located at our Client's Canberra City location.
As the successful candidate you will demonstrate:
- Experience designing wireframes, user interfaces, and interactive prototypes with a high attention to detail and ability to rapidly prototype, test, and iterate designs.
- Experience in working with others to translate findings from usability testing into actionable improvements to a user interface.
- Experience designing user interfaces working within to an existing style guide and/or design system using HTML, CSS, and Javascript/Jquery.
- Tertiary Qualifications in a design related discipline (Human Factors, Communication/Graphic Design, Systems Design, Psychology, Computer Interaction, Web development etc.)
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian Citizens who currently possess a Baseline Federal Government Security Clearance.
