Our high-profile Federal Government Client is seeking the expertise of a seasoned IT Delivery Manager for a contract role. This opportunity is an initial engagement until June 2020 and is working from our Client's offices in south Canberra.
You will bring your strong experience across Project Management, coupled with a passion for advocating Agile practices to our Client's complex, enterprise environment. Prior experience working with SAFe practices specifically, are preferred.
Within this role you will be responsible for the management of IT components of business solutions utilising the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile development practices, processes and tools. You will be responsible for monitoring progress of the sprint on a daily basis, taking proactive measures ahead of time when required in order to achieve Sprint deadlines and objectives and ensure the successful transition of completed projects to BAU
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Demonstrated experience working in the role of a Delivery Manager, with the proven ability to manage sprint planning, scrum meetings, iteration reviews and retrospectives
- Demonstrated experience in developing Agile artefacts, as well as ensuring that architectural and design documents are produced to support effective delivery
- Exemplary Stakeholder management and relationship building capabilities
