Our Federal Government Client is seeking an Organisational Change and Communications Lead to lead all aspects of the business change management, including research, customer journey mapping, end-user experience, communications, engagement, training, and education and driving adoption and plans, as well as implementing activities and developing communication products.

This is a long-term contract up to 30 June 2022 with 2x12 months extension option, located at our Client's Canberra location.

As the selected candidate, you will be:

  • Assessing change impacts, project milestones and undertaking end user research to develop evidence-based change management strategies and implementation plans.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement and management so that change is aligned against the project vision.
  • Providing strategic advice to project teams on emerging risks and treatments to minimise impact of project deliverables on end users.
  • Developing productive relationships with project members and stakeholders using influencing skills to ensure they meet project deliverables whilst managing their expectations.
  • Managing and implementing change activities, working cooperatively with project members, business clients, HR, L&D and corporate communication staff to ensure success of all the change management levers.
  • Managing production, approval, and distribution of clear, concise, and consistent communication products for multiple audiences.

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • 5+ years of experience in organizational change management program design and implementation.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to positively persuade and influence at all levels.
  • An ability to quickly understand technical information and translate it into plain English, suitable for your audience.
  • Experience leading end-to-end organisational change initiatives including strategy, planning, implementation and analysing and measuring adoption.
  • Experience working in complex and dynamic environments.
  • A client service focus with the ability to influence and drive initiatives at both an operational and executive level.
  • Sound judgment and an ability to work under pressure.
  • Be able to work as part of a small team, as well as across various project teams.

It is desirable if you have:

  • Change Management Professional and Project/Program Management certification desirable but not mandatory.

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian who have the ability to obtain Federal Government Security Clearances.
