About the Company :
One of our key government clients based in Sydney is looking for a ICT Business Analyst. The initial contract is for 7 months where you will be given the opportunity to make a tangible contribution to the continued innovation and success of this client.
About the role :
The Business Analyst - ICT will lead the review and analysis of the organisation's business intentions, services, processes and information needs to identify changes that led to business improvements.
Responsibilities :
- Provide advice about the feasibility and sustainability of proposed solutions to optimise business performance
- Lead and manage a team to provide customer focussed services
- Facilitate strong working relationships with key stakeholders to support collaboration, the exchange of information and issues management to build on existing relationships and influence outcomes.
- Work with key stakeholders to define business requirements and trends to enable informed business decisions and service level improvements
- Provide plain language advice on technical issues to non-technical audiences
Skills and experience :
- Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
- Significant experience in the management of requirement and business outcomes in a large private or public sector organisation.
- Sound knowledge of the system development life cycle and the positioning of business analysis within it.
- A minimum of 5+ years' experience in large scale projects
- Provide advice about the feasibility and sustainability of proposed solutions to optimise business performance
- Facilitate strong working relationships with key stakeholders to support collaboration, the exchange of information and issues management to build on existing relationships and influence outcomes.
- Work with key stakeholders to define business requirements and trends to enable informed business decisions and service level improvements
