This is a well known ASX200 global client with operations across WA. This is an opening in their technology division in their inner SOR office. This is a flexible work environment which is open for the right person to work from home one or two days per week.
They are looking for someone to join initially for a six month fixed term contract with full permanent benefits, with hopes for the right candidate to transition to a permanent role in the future.
About the role
Our client is looking for a cerified Azure Data Engineer with data factory and data bricks experience to implement a data warehouse and data integration solution.
Its an opportunity to contribute to the overall design and development of the solution, but also gain valuable exposure to cutting edge machine learning applications that are being developed by this team of data scientists simultaneously.
This is a mid level role in a very collaborative and social development team of 12, which will also utilise your strong interpersonal skills to work closely with vendors and key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Working in a team supporting data scientists across several data analytics projects including building of their analytics infrastructure.
This is a day to day support role for the team of data scientists using machine learning and Python deployments. Machine Learning and Python experience is not required, but good learning opportunity for candidates who want exposure and entry level experience with this.
Skills and experience
- Azure Data Factory and Data Bricks experience in a large enterprise enviroment is essential
- Azure certification is strongly preferred
- Basic Python skills is nice to have, but not essential
