They are looking to strengthen their Development team with a passionate Senior Full Stack Java Developer who is looking to progress their career in Utilities over the long term. Reporting to the Development Manager and working in an open and inclusive team, your primary responsibility will be developing, testing, deploying, maintaining and supporting internal applications. This is also a business partnering and people focused position, where you will communicate with the business and develop long term internal relationships. The ability to translate technical into non-technical is critical. The client is also open to individuals who are passionate about developing user interfaces (eg. Website or GUI's).
With a relevant Information Technology qualification, you are a "hands on" and passionate Java Developer with previous experience gained in a complex and commercial organisation. Java Development is your core focus but you will have a natural interest in learning new technologies such as Groovy, Grails, Spring, Hibernate and AngularJS.
