Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design, Develop & Deploy software applications for backend and real time platforms
- Unit testing and system testing of software applications within the development environment
- Participate in testing triage and resolve software defects
- Provide Level 4 software applications support and training to Operations team members as required
- Maintain Operations manuals and prepare Change Implementation Plans for software deployment
Background & Experience (must have):
- At least 5 years industry experience in software development within unix or Linux environment
Skills Required/Desired:
- At least 3 years recent software development experience using sunstudio 12.1 and gnu toolkit
- Expert in C++, Java, NodeJS, Perl, Phyton development languages
- Experienced in network protocol stack such as soap, udp, jason, http/https, soap
- Demonstrated experience in Data modelling
- Experienced in continuous development tool kit such as JIRA/Bamboo/Fisheye/Bitbucket
- Experienced in continuous deployment tool kit such as OpenStack, Docker, Ansible
- Knowledge in unix/linux admistration and native software development tools
- Experienced in developing software applications using database technologies and cluster such Cassandra, Hadoop, Oracle, LDAP
- Experienced in RabittMQ
- Experienced working in Agile delivery method. Scrum master qualification an advantage
